STCL is one of the major players in the export of a variety of commodities ranging from Spices, Agricultural Produce and Non-agricultural products.

STCL exports spices such as Cardamom, Pepper, Chillies, Coriander, Turmeric, Ginger, Vanilla, Cumin, Fennel, Fenugreek, Mustard, and others, as well as STCL's branded Curry Powders. STCL also exports several Agricultural Products such as Cereals, Pulses, and Beverages include Rice, Wheat, Ragi, Jowar, Maize, Soya Bean Meal, Coffee, Tea, Cashew Nut and Sugar. In addition to the above, STCL also deals with a variety of Non-agricultural products such as Iron Ore and Iodised Salt.

The Company has exported to the tune of Rs.590.02 Crores during 2006-2007, which includes third country trade as against the previous year exports of Rs.130.58 Crores. The company has established strategic tie-ups with various overseas buyers for export of Iron Ore Fines to China and has firmed up export orders for shipment of minimum 40000 metric tons every month.

The portfolio of products exported by the Company consists of Iron Ore valued at Rs.113.52 Crores, Metal Scrap valued at Rs.399.30 Crores, Ceramic Tiles valued at Rs.6.84 Crores, Onion valued at Rs. 52.38 Crores, Sugar valued at Rs.4.79 Crores, Granulated slags valued at Rs.10.92 Crores, Steel Billets valued at Rs.1.68 Crores and other products valued at Rs.0.59 Crores.
