Description:
The plant has evergreen leaves, dense clusters
of flowers at the base of leaves and red,
fleshy berries. Each berry has two seeds

after the outer pulp has been removed.
In India coffee grows at medium to moderately
high altitudes on the slopes of the mountain
ranges called the Western Ghats. India offers
both varieties of Arabicas and Robustas
of premium quality, which are not only selectively
hand picked, but also subjected to only
sun drying.

960 kg per hectare and the total production
is approximately 5.0 million bags, accounting
for about 4.4% of world global production.
The principal buyers of Indian coffee are
Italy, C.I.S., Germany, Belgium, Spain and
